Navigating the Clients Tab

Managing your clients effectively starts with a well-organized system. The Clients tab serves as the central hub where you can access a complete list of your customers. This section provides powerful tools that allow you to search, filter, and sort clients based on different criteria, such as name, creation date, or assigned labels.

If you have a growing list of clients, utilizing the built-in filters can help you quickly find specific customers without scrolling through long lists. You can also segment clients based on industry, location, or engagement level to streamline communication and task assignments.

Adding a New Client

To add a new client, follow these steps:

  1. Click the plus (+) button at the bottom of the Clients tab.

  2. Enter the required client details, including:

    • Client name

    • Business or individual designation

    • Location (If registered on Google Maps, some fields will autofill for convenience)

    • Contact details (phone number, email, website, etc.)

  3. Assign labels to categorize the client effectively. Labels can represent industries, client types, priority levels, or any custom classification your team uses.

  4. Customize invoice settings, ensuring the client’s payment terms, currency, and taxation preferences align with their specific requirements.

  5. Save the client profile, making them immediately available in your database.

Managing Client Details and Tasks

Once a client has been added to the system, your team can actively manage their information and interactions.

  • View and Edit Client Information: Team members can access the client’s profile, update details as needed, and ensure records stay current.

  • Contact Clients Directly: The IKOL platform allows you to call or email clients directly from their profile. You can also use pre-saved templates for quick and consistent communication, saving time while maintaining professionalism.

  • Assign Tasks to Team Members: To ensure smooth operations, assign specific tasks related to each client. This could include:

    • Scheduling meetings

    • Sending follow-up emails

    • Completing project deliverables

    • Handling billing and invoicing

  • Add Notes and Track Client History: Maintain a well-documented history of interactions by adding notes. This is particularly helpful for team members who need to pick up where others left off, ensuring continuity in service and client satisfaction.

For businesses requiring a more tailored approach, the custom properties feature allows you to add additional data fields specific to your needs. This could include:
